      The theme I selected for my blog was from the many templates available on WordPress, however I did modify my particular template to meet my design intent.

      Yes, writing a blog does take a lot of time; deciding on a topic, writing a first draft, then editing, selecting the photos to use, completing any post production work on each image, and then one final re-edit on the entire blog before its final posting. But if you enjoy the challenge, then the time it takes is actually enjoyable, and seeing comments like yours makes it all worthwhile.
